A.P. Course Offerings
AP classes are taught by TCHS faculty during the regular high school day. Classes have college level academic standards and require a greater amount of time outside of the class. AP college credit is earned only if the student takes an exam in May and scores at least 3 on a 5 point scale. The cost of taking the exam is the student’s responsibility and a requirement of the course. AP credit is internationally accepted by colleges and universities. Subject to a minimum required enrollment of 15, TCHS offers eleventh grade students AP English Language and AP U.S. History. For twelfth grade students AP English Literature, AP Biology, AP European History, AP Environmental Science and AP Calculus AB are offered. Once class begins, withdrawal from this course is prohibited. Students will sign a year long course contract committing to course completion.
